Not only was he a journalist, novelist, hunter, and sportsman, he was the quintessential man's man. He led a life that most of us would be in awe of. He traveled the world documenting humankind and telling his stories. Hemingway reported on the Spanish Civil War and World War II, and he even survived two plane crashes. The way we like to remember Hemingway is him sitting at his desk in Key Largo or Havana with a glass of bourbon and pen in his hand.
We have named this exquisite knife after Ernest Hemingway as it feels it would have belonged to him. Whether he was cutting line on his fishing boat or a lime for a gin and tonic, this is the kind of pocket knife we think he would have carried. A smaller knife, it is convenient to carry and use. A 3” blade is perfect for everyday tasks. The scales are made from stained bone and brass and it has a very rich feel to it. A lockback locking system keeps the blade locked open when in use. You won’t be disappointed with this knife and neither would have Hemingway.
